201 Stainless Steel Bar Description<\/strong><\/b><\/h2>\n

201 stainless steel bar\u00a0is composed primarily of iron with between 16 and 18% chromium and\u00a0less than\u00a00.15% carbon. It also contains\u00a0small\u00a0amounts of manganese, nickel, silicon, nitrogen, and copper. In addition, it can be hardened by cold working processes but not heat-treated like 304 or 316 grades, since it has higher formability than the 300 series grades.\u00a0201 stainless steel bar has high manganese but low nickel content. So its corrosion resistance is not as superior as 300 series. 201 stainless steel bars are widely used as parts in manufacturing kitchenware, outdoor decoration engineering, urban decoration industry and low-grade household products. They are\u00a0also used in medical instruments and automotive parts that require flexibility while maintaining strength under pressure.<\/p>\n
