2205/2507 Stainless Steel Wire
2205 stainless steel wire is a duplex grade combining austenitic and ferritic qualities, offering superior strength and excellent corrosion resistance, particularly against pitting and crevice corrosion. It contains about 22% chromium, 5% nickel, and 3% molybdenum, enhancing its resistance to corrosion and cracking compared to traditional austenitic steels. Ideal for challenging environments with high chloride levels, such as marine, oil and gas industries, and chemical processing, 2205 wire is also utilized in pollution control equipment and high-strength structural components. Its combination of strength and corrosion resistance makes it highly valuable in industrial applications demanding durability and long-term performance.
